Actress Jana Strydom chats to Bonang about her new movie 'Verskietende Ster'

Jana Strydom is well-known to the SABC audience because of her role as Katie Spencer in the series Erfsondes and as Helena in 7de Laan. Next week her latest movie, “Verskietende Ster” or “Shooting Star” in English, which won the audience favourite at the recent silver-skerm fees, releases in cinemas across the country. 

Jana has been nominated for two South African Film and Television Awards for Best Performance by an Actress, and she has earned three coveted ATKeertjie awards for her work in 2010, 2011 and 2013. Completely fluent in English and Afrikaans, Jana Strydom has proved her immense versatility, and her winning personality, both off and on screen, is sure to play a role in her future development as one of South Africa’s Major Talents.
