We are joined in Studio by Mr South Africa Heinrich Gabler. Heinrich is a true definition of how one's past does not define what your future will become. He had to overcome being struck by tragedy at a young age, but it still helped to shape him into becoming the man that he is today.
Heinrich had grown up at the House Andrew Murray Children's Home in Wellington. This was due to the tragedy of losing his mother at the age of 9 years old, due to a car accident. Sadly at his mother’s funeral, it would also be the last time that he would see his father, who also suffered from alcohol addiction. While in the children’s home it would be the first time that he experience security and constant meals, in a while.
He got his inspired to go into the world of modelling after Mr South Africa 2007 Dieter Voigt, approached him in his matric year to go into modelling and try and make a difference through that platform. After that, he perused a career in modelling and in 2017 entered Mr South Africa for the first time but only made it to the top 14 contenders.
