Founder of The Bread Bar Bakery
Master Bread Maker Francois Zietsman, Founder of The Bread Bar Bakery joins us in the loft to share the science of baking the perfect sweet and savoury breads.
He made his culinary debut in 2014 as a contestant on Master Chef South Africa Season Three. Since then, he has been making a significant impact in the industry.
Francois’s love for cooking stems from his Ouma who would religiously bake every day. During his teens, he worked as a table cleaner at an Italian restaurant where they made fresh bread every morning. He learnt how to work with the bread dough and fell in love with baking.
Today, he is an Artisan Baker, Private Chef and is the Founder of The Bread Bar Bakery. His bakery makes a wide selection of artisanal breads from ciabatta to cinnamon buns and mossbolletjies.
