She’s a well-loved 7delaan actress who is famous for her “larger-than-life” character and the crazy antics. Love or hate Hillside’s Paula van der Lecq, we can’t help but admire her kooky “je ne sais quois” – with us in the loft is the beautiful and talented woman behind the ever popular Paula. SAFTA, Tempo and You spectacular award winning actress Diaan Lawrenson.

Whilst at 7de Laan, Diaan is still performing in many stage productions such as ‘Die Vals Snor’, ‘Dirk en Lindie’,’Under the Fig Tree’, ‘Vrydag is Skeidag’ and ‘Roemers & Bloermers2’ with Karen Zoid, Shaleen Surti-Richards and Marion Holm. Diaan has received many awards such as ATKV Veertjie 2009 Favourite Actress and YOU Spectacular Best Actress 2010, YOU Spectacular Best Actress 2013 and have been nominated for a ‘Crystal People’s Choice Best Actress 2005’, ‘You Spectacular Best Actress 2007’, ‘SAFTA Award Best Actress 2009’ and Tempo Awards 2015 for Best Actress.
