Christo Davids, Maurice Paige, Theo Jantjies talk about their play 'Platform 9'
They’re well-known to South African audiences for their work on TV. Davids, for his role as Errol in 7nd Laan, Jantjies plays Xander in the same show and Paige is Calvin in Isidingo. But, lesser-known by many of their fans, they’re actually best friends in real life. Joining us on the couch are Theo Jantjies, Maurice page and Christo Davids.
Being best friends means a lot of material to draw from when creating a script. Platform 9 is a stage play created by Maurice Page, Christo Davids and Theodore Jantjies. It’s a story about the journey a friendship can take you on. Ups and downs, highs and lows. The play has toured extensively around the country in the last three years.
