We are joined in the studio by singer, songwriter, producer, and all-round musician Chad Saaiman. The Cape Town born musician has been in the industry for nearly 20 years, and he still looks and sounds as great as he did all those years ago.
Chad is known for his excellent song-writing capabilities which is partly credited to his B.A degree in English Literature and Communications. This has led to him being one of the most prolific songwriters in the industry, not only writing hits for himself but also other artists, with many of them appearing on top radio charts. In the last decade, he has written over 50 songs which have appeared on radio playlists, truly making himself a force to be reckoned with, in the music industry. Even though Chad’s debut album ‘Chasing Melodies’ was only released in 2008, for which he received a SAMA nomination for Best English Pop Album in 2009, he had been in the industry for quite sometime before that slowly working his way up.
The musician hasn't, not been without his share of tough times though, as in June 2011 he was tragically shot during a high-jacking in Johannesburg. This took quite a bit of the singer both physically and mentally, as he would only go on to only release another album after that, only in 2014. Now however risen above the entire situation completely, with his latest 2019 single ‘Recovery’ being inspired by the whole ordeal.
