Candice was Mrs South Africa 2016, and after that she became the first South African to be crowned Mrs World, on 12 March 2016 in China.
Being crowned Mrs World opened up a lot of doors for Candice and gave her great presenting exposure, as she shared stage with Grammy award winning Flutist – Wouter Kellerman at the Naledi Theatre Awards and at the South African Film and Television awards she presented the first award that night alongside Proverb.
Candice is also an avid philanthropist who is a Brand Ambassador for the Lungile Mtshotwana Foundation. Candice is a campaigner for the advancement of education and has launched the “Candice Abrahams Henkel and Pritt Stationery drive,” were they distribute stationery packs around the country, various charities and disadvantage schools, ensuring that every child across South Africa has his/her own basic stationary set at the start of each year. There are many charities that Candice is involved in such as Bethany Home for abused women and their children, footprints play centre and gives Bullying prevention talks with the aim to give students the tools to extinguish bullying.
