The Gugulethu Tenors

The opera quartet The Gugulethu Tenors are in the Afternoon Express loft for an interview and performance.

After being selected to compete in a singing competition called the Prompt Voice Search while they were still in High School, these self-taught opera singers went on to win and never looked back.

Since releasing their debut album in 2011 they’ve performed at some of South Africa’s biggest events and festivals including the FIFA World Cup 2010, the Cape Town International Jazz Festival and performing for the likes of Oprah and Mariah Carrey. We interview the incredible Gugulethu Tenors and they perform for us in the loft.
