Dr Morna Cornell
Dr Morna Cornell talks about fewer men accessing ARVs.
As antiretroviral therapy, or ART, becomes more widely available, issues of access are becoming increasingly important. In the early years of ART, people were concerned, that due to gender inequalities, men might have better access to treatment than women. However there is mounting evidence showing that fewer men are accessing antiretrovirals across Africa than women. Joining us to get a better understanding of this phenomenon, from the Dept. of Public Health and Family Medicine, is Dr Morna Cornell.
