Hope Africa Collective

We are joined in the studio by the Program Manager of the Hope Africa Collective Dr Brandon Weber. It is a registered non-profit that aims at helping youth development by helping the youth in under-resourced communities gain more skills and increase their chances of being more employable.

It helps by attending to the social, spiritual and practical needs of their youth. The NPO began back in 2009 and has been helping the youth in less fortunate communities acquire skills to help them get ahead, such as hair styling, trade skills and computer literacy. Upon completion of the development courses, the students are then provided with the opportunities to start their own businesses, as entrepreneurs are often seen as the backbone of most economies.
We believe in ending poverty through empowerment and opportunity.

What sets them apart from other organisations is that they don’t just help the youth with only employment skills, but they help them as a whole such as also providing spiritual formation, life development, and helping them transform as a whole.
