Periscope Thursdays

Afternoon Express takes you behind the scenes on Periscope each Thursday.

Periscope allows you to broadcast what's happening around you right here and now to anyone around the world using your phone. It also gives you a chance to see what strangers in foreign places are experiencing, so it's no wonder the developers like to call it “the closest thing to teleportation”.

Each Thursday at 3:30pm CAT, thirty minutes before we go on the air, our social media team takes you behind the scenes with our presenters and guests. We'll also feature exclusive moments that you're never going to see on TV. What happens when South Africa's biggest afternoon show is about to kick off? ! Tune in by downloading the app and following Afternoon Express on @AfternoonChat. You can ask us questions and show us some love (point to screen where hopefully hearts are showing) by tapping on your phone's screen.
