Psychological Effects of Child Abuse
Clinical psychologist, Jenny Rose chats to us about the psychological affects of child abuse.
Child abuse can be defined as a parent or caregiver, whether through action or failing to act, causes injury, death, emotional harm or risk of serious harm to a child. These issues are a big problem across South Africa and quite often nothing is done about or the people that surround the child don’t even know that abuse is happening. Joining us on the couch is clinical psychologist, Jenny Rose, who works a lot with families and parent-child relationships.
