Today, 1st for Women Insurance is continuing the “First SA Women’s series, through Afternoon Express where we celebrate admire and learn from a number of fantastic South African women. Today we are going to chat to a medical practioner with a difference, Dr Sindi van Zyl. Through her prolific community engagement on twitter and facebook,through emails and via her blog Dr Sindi provides ongoing support and health-care education to those in desperate need of health care. She currently works as an HIV clinician at the Zuzimpilo Clinic in the Johannesburg CBD and in her spare time she also writes for magazines, online health journals and hosts a weekly radio show.
