Disadvantaged Sailors
We chat to Sapinda Rainbow Foundation representative Lebalang Molobele.
Being part of a Sailing team is one of the most bonding and educational experiences you can have in regards to learning leadership and organizational skills. We chat to the Head Representative and Race Alumni of the Sapinda Rainbow Foundation, an organization that promotes leadership and mentoring to underprivileged South African’s while raising funds for Charities in need. Today, Afternoon Express is pleased to welcome Lebalang Molobele to the loft to tell us more.
Lebalang, who has a self-confessed fear of water, completed the final leg of the Clipper Round the
World Yacht Race across the Atlantic Ocean in 2014. Since becoming an ambassador for the
Sapinda Rainbow Foundation, Lebalang is now going through law studies at UNISA in parallel to her job as Head Representative of the Foundation in SA.
