Running an NGO

We're joined by CCDI executive director Erica Elk who talks about what its like to run an NGO.

Today we’re discussing what running an NGO is all about. We’re joined by Shado as well as Erica Elk, who is the executive director at the Cape Craft and Design Institute, a non-profit company that empowers creatives with the knowledge and tools to pursue turn their passion into a sustainable business.

The Cape Craft and Design Institute (CCDI) was set up in 2001 to support the needs of creative businesses in the Western Cape, and to grow the region’s craft and design sector. A not-for-profit company, the CCDI is a joint initiative of Western Cape Government and the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT).
