Honey and avocado face mask
Good for hydration
You will need the following:
1 tsp natural honey
1 tsp mashed avocado
1 tsp coconut oil
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Wash your face and gently pat it dry. Make sure your hands are clean, then massage the mask onto your face. Allow the mask to rest on your face for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat skin dry. Skin should feel well hydrated.
Banana face mask
Good for hydration and supple skin
You will need the following:
1 small banana
1 tsp orange juice
1 tsp Greek yogurt
Mash the ingredients in a bowl with a fork until the mixture has a smooth consistency. You could alternatively pop it all in a blender for a quick and smooth mask. Apply to skin and leave it on for 10 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry. This mask will leave your skin better hydrated and with more elasticity.
Cucumber face mask
Good for soothing dry skin
You will need the following:
½ cucumber, sliced
1 tbsp ground oats
1 tbsp honey
Purée the cucumber and transfer it to a mixing bowl. Stir in the oats and honey, and apply to your face. Gently massage the mixture into skin using circular motions. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse it off with cold water and pat dry with a clean towel. This mask is great for soothing and healing dry skin.
