
Welcome to our first edition of “Meet The Farmer” as take a trip to the scenic Boschendal Farm to see how they are farming sustainably.
We meet their General Manager of Farming, Charles Edmonds, as he gives us a tour of their beautiful food garden before the Executive Chef of The Werf, Allistaire Lawrence, shows us how to prepare root vegetables.
We head back to the studio to join the Plant-Based Cosmetic Chef and Eco Diva, Nicole Sherwin and she shares with us some of the benefits of the root herb turmeric.
It is all about root cooking in the kitchen as we whip up some delightful Clover Cheese Straws with Beetroot Hummus. Stay tuned as Nicole also shows us how to make a Vegan Turmeric Latte.
