Episode 84 • 31 August 2015
Cancervive representatives and cancer survivors share their amazing stories.
Monday's motivational episode of Afternoon Expresss celebrates the efforts of breast cancer awareness, particularly those of the Cancervive organisation. On the show today, we chat to celebrity ambassador and cancer survivor Janie du Plessis as well as Revlon South Africa Director of Communications Adele du Plessis who spoke about how the cosmetic company is creating awareness and why it is positioning itself with such an incredible cause.
Also on our couch, two survivors share their stories - Raynolda Mukhutle & Itumeleng Letoaba - who have fought and beat cancer and now spend their time helping those who may not be as strong as they are. Much like Janie and Adele, they too are Cancervice ambassadors.
In the kitchen, Abigail shows off the latest Woolworths Taste magazine, packed with colourful and delightful recipes and creates one of those recipes LIVE on the show - millionaire's brownie cake!
