It's all about holiday safety on this Monday's Afternoon Express.

The holiday season is coming up and with the roads and public areas busier than usual, it's our duties to make sure that we are safe and protected. Today's Afternoon Express will look at festive season safety, first with Brent Lawrence from Arrive Alive with road safety tips. While the festive season casualty toll has dropped, we can do more to protect ourselves and ensure it keeps dropping.

Our next guest is EMT training co-ordinator Uwe Auer who will be sharing basic first aid tips and tricks. because, as important as it is to avoid danger and keep your family safe, it is just as important to know what to do in a case of emergency.

Also on the show, we look at sun and surf protection, travelling tips, and in the kitchen Abigail Donnely returns with the best Christmas dessert you could possibly have - festive ice cream sandwiches.
