Tune in as we continue the theme of Dreams here on Afternoon Express. Back by popular demand, Chef Tjaart joins us in the kitchen once again.
SboNdaba Dance Group is in the loft with two performances from their upcoming production at the Artscape, ‘Our Oceans, Our Future’. We sit down with their Artistic Director and Choreographer, Sbonakaliso Ndaba to hear all about her dance academy.

Are you dreaming of comfort food? Our Dreamy Meatballs with Creamy Garlic Mash will satisfy these cravings in no time. A tip from our chefs: when making meatballs it’s best to choose quality ground meat. Fattier meats like beef, lamb and pork will give you a more tender meatball, whereas leaner meats such as chicken easily overcooks.
Chef Tjaart shows us how to make his Favourite Pepperoni Pizza. Keep in mind, don’t use too much sauce when making your pizza, otherwise you will end up with a soggy crust.
The key to successful cooking and baking is to measure your ingredients carefully. Jay shares some of his helpful measuring tips to get you on your way!
Nothing wins a heart better than a Traditional Milk Tart. Pro tip: folding cold butter between the layers of puff pastry is a great way to level up store bought puff pastry.
