Christmas in July is the Southern Hemisphere’s mid-year chance to celebrate all of the wintry traditions that come with the merry December holiday.
 
We are joined today by the incredible foodie, Sadika Fakir, who is also the Integrated Media and Digital Director at Tiger Brands.
 
The first recipe is Sadika’s very own, a Lemon and Garlic Roast Chicken. We spread the garlic butter under the skin of the chicken to ensure it remains moist, while the skin is extra crispy. This also helps create a pan sauce that can be served with the chicken.
 
What’s better than one roast chicken? Two roast chickens! Chef Tumi brings us a Whole Roasted Chicken with Herby Rice Stuffing recipe that is simple yet super flavourful.
 
Up next is a Spicy Sweetcorn Pudding that is the perfect addition to a Christmas in July dinner party spread. This is one of Sadika’s favourite recipes, and is quick and easy. Top tip: You can bake this as one large dish or in individual ramekins.
